Anti-Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Competition Project Team Discusses the establishment of a rehabilitation center for those recovering from addiction in Muttrah

Muscat: The Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Competition Project Team held a meeting, headed by Abdul Hamid bin Abdul Rahman Al Kharousi, Muttrah Wally’s Deputy. The meeting aims to discuss the progress of the competition project.

A number of members of the National Committee attended the meeting for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances.

It reviewed the achievements of the team responsible for the competition, a brief overview of the stages that were implemented, and aspects that are related to its organization.

They also discussed allocating a site in Muttrah to establish a rehabilitation center project for those recovering from addiction. Within this meeting, the progress of the organized activities during the previous period and the achieved results were reviewed and evaluated.

These events are considered an important part of the done efforts to combat drugs, narcotic and psychotropic substances in Muttrah.

This competition reflects the keenness of Muscat Governorate and the concerned authorities to increase national efforts to combat drugs, narcotic and psychotropic substances.

As well as Rehabilitation of those recovering from addiction, integrating them with different groups of society, and the necessary support offer to individuals influenced by them.
