APSR to hold press conference tomorrow at OCEC

Muscat: The Authority for Public Services Regulation will hold its press conference on (Monday) at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center, to review the most prominent works and projects that it achieved in the past year and the plans that it will implement during the current year.

During the conference, the advanced positions achieved by the Sultanate of Oman in the regulatory indicators for sustainable energy issued by the “Rise” organization of the World Bank will be discussed.

The most important strategic objectives included in the Authority’s plan for the year 2023, which are based on sustainability, efficiency and reliability, will also be reviewed, most notably improving the regulatory frameworks to raise the efficiency of the system, attracting investment, strengthening and qualifying national capabilities, digital transformation, raising the efficiency and quality of services provided to subscribers, and achieving the requirements of the national strategy for zero neutrality.
