Arabian Sea Fisheries in Salalah Free Zone produces 70 tons of fish per day

Salalah: The Salalah Free Zone, affiliated to the Asyad Group, continues its efforts to attract local and foreign investment. Directing it towards a selection of vital productive sectors that contribute to achieving food security, in addition to other industries that achieve economic value for the Omani economy.

As a result of the strategic plans; The number of international and local companies and factories hosted by the Salalah Free Zone is increasing. Thanks to the advanced infrastructure, commercial incentives, and logistics services it provides within the integrated logistics system of the Asyad Group.

The Arabian Sea Fish Company in the Salalah Free Zone is one of the companies operating in the fish industry in the Sultanate of Oman in the Salalah Free Zone, which was established in 2018.

Salem Saeed bin Qurban, Executive Director of the Arabian Sea Fish Company, explained that the company has warehouses that can accommodate about 1,000 tons of frozen fish, and a daily production equivalent to 70 tons for freezing.

He stated that the company’s products are represented by many types of fish, such as: swords, squid, tuna, sharks, octopus and lobster, and the company seeks to adhere to the highest standards of safety and quality in its production and export, with a special focus on food safety. He pointed out that the company seeks in the future to export its products to international markets such as Europe and America. This reflects its ambitious vision to expand its business and achieve greater growth in the future.
