

Dhalkut: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, represented by the General Directorate of Roads and Land Transport in Dhofar Governorate, announced the completion of 46 percent of the work of the project to design and implement the stabilization of slopes on the (Argot-Sarfit) road in the Wilayat of Dhalkut, which costs more than 11 million riyals. Omani.
The project works include: changing the current route, implementing cuts and fills, in addition to the accompanying construction works and necessary protection works for the road. It is hoped that the project will be completed in the last quarter of next year 2024.
Through the project, the Ministry aims to enhance traffic safety and raise the efficiency of roads to achieve a safe and integrated infrastructure with the traffic witnessed on the roads in the Sultanate of Oman.
