    • As temperatures soar: Oman’s Ministry alerts livestock transporters

    The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources called on all livestock breeders and transporters not to transport live animals between and within the governorates except through covered means of transportation due to the high temperatures during the noon period.

    The Ministry affirmed that animal welfare is a religious duty and a moral, human and legal obligation that aims to improve dealing with animals in the various stages of shelter, feeding, care and transportation.
