One arrested in Barka farm raid, over 4,000 bottles of alcoholic beverages seized
Muscat: Oman Customs has raided a site in Seeb and seized more than 4,000 bottles of alcoholic beverages in Barka farm.
In a statement Oman Customs said: The General Administration of Customs, represented by the Compliance and Risk Assessment Department, stops a vehicle driven by an Asian who was transporting and storing alcoholic beverages on a farm in Barka, and seizes more than 4,000 bottles of alcoholic beverages. It also raids another site in Seeb and seizes large quantities of smuggled cigarettes.
