A’soud Global School Duqm celebrates 52nd National Day

A’soud Global School, Duqm, the first Cambridge International Curriculum school in the, Al Wusta region, celebrated the Glorious 52nd National Day with a grand celebration.

His Excellency Sheikh Badar bin Nasser Al Farsi, Wali of Duqm, attended as was invited as Chief Guest and welcomed Mr. Himansu Mohapatra -Group General Manager – Investment from Muscat Overseas Group.

Mr Peter Gutteridge – Principal delivered a speech in which he honoured congratulated His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, and the Omani people on the glorious occasion of the 52nd Oman National Day.

As part of the AGS community engagement program, presentations combined the performances of children from AGS Duqm, the girls of Duqm School and boys from Bahr Al Arab school to provide an Oman themed programme of entertainment. This vibrant and enegetic event incorporated a colorful garments fashion show, Quran recitation, poetry & singing and traditional Omani dance.

The event concluded with the presentation by the Principal of AGS Duqm to Sheikh Badar bin Nasser Al Farsi, Mr. Salim Qattan-Manager, SEZAD Investor Service and the principal’s of Duqm and Bahr Al Arab school for their support and participation.
