Association of Children with Disability, Kempinski Muscat Sign MoU

Muscat: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of social responsibility (as part of sustainability initiatives) was inked here today by the Association for the Welfare of Handicapped Children and hotel Kempinski Muscat.

It was signed by Sayyid Hujaija Jaifer Al Said, Head of the Association for the Welfare of Handicapped Children and the General Manager of Kempinski Muscat, Karlsten Weygandt.

Sayyid Hujaija said that the MoU deals with dedicating ballrooms at Kempinski Muscat to host the activities and programmes of the association, as well as campaigns serving children with disabilities.

The initiative seeks to achieve the goals set by the association to help children with disabilities and empower them by all means to adapt and merge into society, psychologically and professionally, said Sayyid Hujaija. She added that the association takes keen interest in providing advanced services for this segment so that it could unleash its potentials, earn a decent living and live a normal life.
