Awqaf minister to inaugurate Al-Salam Mosque in Bausher today

Muscat: Assigned by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Dr Mohammed bin Said al Maamari Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs to inaugurate Al Salam Mosque in the Wilayat of Bausher today 

The construction of the mosque was ordered by the Sultan Qaboos bin Said, and it was built in accordance with the approved engineering and technical standard with a total area of about 13,139 square meters. 

The main prayer hall for men can accommodate 1,740 worshipers, and the prayer hall for women can accommodate 882. The other facilities of the mosque include a two-story multi-purpose hall, an accommodation for Imam and stores. The mosque is equipped with modern sound, monitoring and IT Systems.
