Visa Waiver Allows 30-Day Stays for Omanis in Azerbaijan
Muscat: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the Republic of Azerbaijan has decided to exempt citizens of the Sultanate of Oman from entry visa requirements.
The decision took effect on 15 February 2026 and will remain in force until 15 February 2027.
Under the measure, Omani citizens may enter Azerbaijan and stay for up to 30 days without obtaining a prior visa. The exemption applies to a maximum of three visits during the one-year period.
The Ministry advised citizens intending to travel to ensure that their passports are valid for no less than six months from the date of entry. Travellers are also required to obtain health insurance covering the duration of their stay.
The Ministry wished all citizens a safe and pleasant journey.
