Manama: Abdulla Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Kingdom of Bahrain received today a delegation of Omani businesspeople currently visiting Bahrain.
The delegation is headed by Ridha Juma Al Saleh, Member of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) Board of Directors.
The meeting reviewed the economic milieu in Bahrain, as well as the facilities provided to localize investment from the region and the world at large. It also touched on means of augmenting trade exchange between Oman and Bahrain.
Moreover, the delegation visited Salman City, which includes thousands of housing units and modern services that are established based on international standards. They were also introduced to the investment opportunities in the city.
Further, the delegation also visited Bahrain Economic Development Board. During the visit, the members of the delegation were briefed on prominent investment opportunities in Bahrain, in addition to various investment projects in the fields of industry, logistics, real estate, foodstuff, education and technology.
