Muscat: The decision on banning the fishing, trading and possessing of Kingfish in the Sultanate of Oman ends and permitting fishing and trading from Sunday said the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Waters Resources (MAFWR)
In a statement The Ministry of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources announced the end of the ban on fishing for kingfish for this year 2022 , allowing its fishing and trading, starting from Sunday, October 16, and the Ministry thanks the fishermen for their commitment during the ban period from August 15 to October 15, it stresses the importance of maintaining the sustainability Kingfish fishing, adherence to rational fishing methods and the minimum allowed length of 65 centimeters.
