Bawshar Social Development Committee Discusses its Initiatives for the Holy Ramadan

Muscat: The Social Development Committee in Bawshar held its first meeting for this year, headed by His Excellency Ahmed bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Bawshar Wally, with the aim of discussing several topics.

During the meeting, the recommendations of the previous meeting and the progress completed in implementing them were reviewed, as part of ongoing efforts to evaluate previous work and ensure the achievement of particular objectives.     The topics on the agenda were also discussed, which included the work reports of the Nidaa Charity Team and discussion of Ramadan initiatives, such as food baskets’ distribution to low-income and needy families during this blessed month.     The regulations for the Social Development Committee’s work were discussed, and connected proposals to it were presented. This regulation aims to organize and improve the committee’s performance and enhance its role in social development and social welfare’s achievement.

It’s worth-nothing that Nidaa Charity Team was established relating with the Social Development Committee in Bawshar in 2012. It aims to increase the level of knowledge and living of society through a set of programs managed by specialists in charitable and volunteer work field.

The team seeks to achieve its set purposes through continuous support to needy families and offer them with the essential needs.
