    Muscat: The body of a missing fisherman was discovered along the beach in the Wilayat of Sur, after several days of intensive national search efforts.

    The discovery was made by a local citizen, and the body was subsequently recovered by rescue teams from the Coast Guard Police.

    According to the Royal Oman Police, the fisherman had fallen from a fishing boat near Al-Bar area in Wilayat of Sur, in South Al Sharqiyah governorate, on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Search and rescue teams continued their efforts diligently until the unfortunate discovery.
