Brazilian Elias van Werdemen wins the third stage of Salalah Tour

Salalah: Brazilian cyclist Elias Van Werdemen won the third stage of the fourth edition of the Salalah Cycling Tour, as part of the Dhofar Khareef Festival organised by Dhofar Municipality in cooperation with the Oman Cycling Federation and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth.

The third stage of the Salalah Tour race started from Al Hafa Market, passing through the Niyabat of Taitam and ending at Itin Park, for a distance of 119 kilometers. Brazilian cyclist Nicolas Sisaun won the gold jersey and the green jersey, while cyclist Ibrahim Al-Sabahi won the white jersey under 23 years old, while Mongolian cyclist Naglas Benjarar won the grey jersey.

The Salalah Tour concludes tomorrow with the fourth stage under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Mohsen Al Ghassani, Chairman of Dhofar Municipality, which starts from Al Mughsail to Darbat Waterfalls, a distance of 133 kilometers.
