Muscat: In regulating the supervisory role for the implementation of Anti-Money Laundering & Terrorism Financing Law, the ministry urges all enterprises to ensure that clients show their personal ID during any transaction for the purchase and sale of gold, precious metals & stones.
In a statement Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MOCIIP) said: Concerning Commercial Transactions for the Purchase and Sale of Gold, Jewellery, Precious Metals and Stones.
Regulating the supervisory role for the implementation fo the Anti-Moneey Laundering and Terrorism Financing Law, and ensuring that all commercial transactions are followed up in accordance with the relevant regulations and procedures.
