Al Suwaiq: The Environment Center in the Wilayat of Al Suwaiq in the Governorate of North Al Batinah today organized a campaign to plant 100 trees, coinciding with the celebration of the Omani Environment Day and in activation of the national initiative to plant 10 million wild Omani trees launched by the Environment Authority.
The campaign included planting a number of wild Omani trees at the Suwaiq Club site in cooperation with the Department of Municipal Affairs in Suwaiq, a number of volunteer teams in the state, as well as mobile clans and mobile phones of the Suwaiq Club.
The center aims to activate partnership with the community to preserve the environment and raise awareness among community members. During the coming period, the center will carry out a number of cultivation campaigns in other locations in the wilayats of Al-Suwaiq and Al-Khaboura.
