Oman’s production of car fuel decreases 3.2% by end of March 2024
Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman’s production of car fuel recorded a decrease of 3.2% by the end of March 2024 compared to the corresponding period in 2023, according to preliminary statistics released by the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
The production of regular fuel (M-91) fell by 15.3% by the end of March 2024%. High grade fuel (M-95) increased by 17.9%. Production of M-91 fuel reached 3,920,500 barrels, while sales stood at 3,340,100 barrels. The production of M-95 fuel reached 3,105,600 barrels and its sales reached 3,106,100 barrels.
Diesel production declined by 10.6% to stand at 7,426,700 barrels and its sales reached 3,386,700 barrels. Meanwhile, jet fuel production increased by 9.4% to stand at 2,947,700 barrels, while its sales stood at 1,087,600 barrels. Liquefied natural gas (LNG) production reached 2,203,400 barrels and its sales stood at 2,432,600. – ONA
