Muscat: (Oman Development Bonds) On behalf of the Government of Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Finance, the Central Bank of Oman announces an issue of Government Development Bonds to be sold by auction. The 70th Issue of Government Development Bonds will be issued on Thursday, 25/04/2024, carrying a coupon rate of 4.85% per annum for a maturity period of 2 years (maturing on 25/04/2026). These Bonds will be auctioned and priced on Tuesday, 23/04/2024. Investors may apply for these Bonds through licensed commercial banks by completing the application form.

Security of Capital

The Bonds are direct and unconditional obligations of the Government of the Sultanate of Oman.

Fixed and Attractive Returns

Interest shall accrue from the date of issue, and will be paid semi-annually on 25 April and 25 October of every year until maturity. The first payment will be made on 25 October 2024. Interest payments will cease once the Bond matures.

Liquidity

The Bonds can be listed and traded before maturity in MSX at the prevailing market price.

Collateral Advantage

The Bonds can be used as a collateral security to obtain loans from any licensed commercial bank.

Who Can Invest?

GDB 70 is offered to all types of investors, residents and non-residents (irrespective of their nationalities).

How to buy the bonds?

Investors may obtain bonds through any licensed commercial bank operating in the Sultanate of Oman,
upon the submission of an eligible application form. Investors must provide their MSX Investor Code in the application form.

MSX Investor Code

Anyone who does not have MSX Investor Code, can obtain it from Muscat Clearing and Depository Co.
(MCD) through their website (www.mcd.gov.om) or via Oman Stocks app at least one day prior to
submitting the application to the commercial bank.
