Chairman of OCCI discusses the challenges of private sector in Buraimi Governorate

Al Buraimi:  Sheikh Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, met with Dr. Hamad bin Ahmed Al Busaidi, Governor of Al Buraimi, as part of the provincial visits programme. During the meeting, a number of economic issues related to the private sector in the governorate were discussed, and the projects and initiatives to be launched with the aim of developing and developing the governorate’s economy and adding competitive value to it were discussed. The meeting also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the governor’s office to implement a tourism development project in the governorate, based on Economic and development partnership between the two sides to achieve the goals of “Oman Vision 2040”.

His Excellency the Sheikh met with the members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber’s branch in Al-Buraimi Governorate to discuss developments in the economic situation in the governorate, and to review the views of the sectoral committees in the branch, which were summarized in a number of issues, foremost of which is facilitating and excluding the governorate from some legislations and laws with the aim of enabling entrepreneurs to conduct their business and develop their companies and strive to reach Their commercial goals and the development of promising economic and commercial sectors.
