Chairman of the State Council heads to Turkey

Muscat: His Excellency Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council heads to Turkish capital, Ankara to participate in the inauguration ceremony of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as President of the Republic of Turkey for a new presidential term, which is to be held later today.

During his participation, His Excellency was accompanied by: His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, the Honorable Sheikh Dr. Al-Khattab bin Ghaleb Al Hinai, Deputy Chairman of the State Council, and the Honorable Maha bint Suleiman Al Lamkiyah, Member of the State Council.

Farewell to the President of the State Council upon his departure from the country were: Honorable Dr. Badriya bint Ibrahim Al Shehiya, Vice President of the State Council, Honorable Salem bin Muhammad Al Riyami, member of the State Council, and His Excellency Khalid bin Ahmed Al Saadi, Secretary General of the State Council.
