Citizens in Oman’s Nakhal Organize Reception on Royal Motorcade Passing Across Their Wilayat

Nakhal: The people of the Wilayat of Nakhal, South Al Batinah Governorate, today held a reception to mark the auspicious passage of the Royal motorcade of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on his way to Al Sumoud Ground of Sultan’s Special Force (SSF), for the military parade on the occasion of the 54th National Day.

The citizens, who lined the two sides of the road, expressed their heartfelt welcome and great joy about the national occasion. They reiterated their sentiments of loyalty and gratitude to the leader of the Omani Renewed Renaissance.

They waved the flags of the Sultanate of Oman and held banners bearing expressions of pride and allegiance. His Majesty the Sultan waved back in appreciation for the citizens’ sincere sentiments and warm welcome.

The reception saw the participation of horsemen, camel riders, male and female students, scouts and guides from schools, who all formed a tableau depicting the depth of solidarity, while folklore troupes manifested a similar spirit by chanting traditional Omani songs to mark the occasion.

The Secretariat General of National Celebrations valued the gesture of the citizens and appreciated their expressions of joy over the occasion.

May the Almighty Allah return this precious and similar occasions while His Majesty the Sultan enjoys good health, wellbeing and a long life, and Oman welfare and prosperity.
