

Dhank: The Ministry of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources, represented by the Director General of Evaluation, received the Wadi Surur Dam in the Wilayat of Dhank in Al Dhahirah Governorate, as part of the Ministry’s efforts to nourish the falaj and water wells in that state.
The length of the dam is (165) metres, its height is (15) metres, the width of its base is (6) metres, the length of the spillway is (55) metres, and the storage capacity is one million and 290 thousand cubic metres.
The Wadi Surur Dam in the state of Dhank is one of the underground and surface storage dams, which will contribute to storing water in tanks that contribute to providing and developing water resources for farms, villages and population centers spread on the slopes of the valley and mountains, and providing protection from floods in some villages of the town.
