Muscat: The Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) has issued a statement following with interest what is circulating on social media that suppliers raise the prices of some animal feed due to the increase in raw material prices on the international grain market.
The authority affirmed that it continuously monitors the situation of grain prices on the world markets in coordination with the concerned authorities.
PACP called on suppliers to adhere to and not to exploit this situation, and stressed that any violation is against the law.
