As operation resume in Fish markets in Oman after three months of lockdown, the list of following control measures to ensure that you will stay safe.

Preventive Measures for Fish Markets:

1, Deny entry of people not wearing face masks and gloves, and/or those with body temperature exceeds (37.5) degrees Celsuis.

2, Limit the capacity; the number of visitors will not exceed a maximum of 30% of the market normal capacity.

3, Only one gate for entry and one for exit will be used.

4, The Market Administration is committed to tighten control over entrances and exits in coordination with the police; to prevent random entry of customers.

5, Prohibit customers from touching fish.

6, Ensure proper ventilation in the market and its facilities.

7, Install social distancing floor stickers to delineate personal boundaries and create physical space between customers.

8, Enforce at least 1.5 meter social distancing rule.

9, Place barriers to ensure that entry takes place through the designated entrances only.

10, Consider reducing the opening hours and the possibility to cancel some days.

11, Ban the entry of children and the elderly.

12, Use security and safety personnel to enforce compliance with the regulation.


1, Comply with the instructions of competent authorities and take preventive measures for Fish Markets.

2, Adhere to the health requirements and preventive measures to halt further spread of Covid-19, and wear new face masks and disposable gloves constantly.

3, Arrange unused display tables to put a safe distance between vendors and cutters.

Hygiene and sterilization:

1, Set a schedule to disinfect the market and its facilities.

2, Place automatic hand sanitisers at entrances and exits and urge all to use them each time they pass them.

4- مارکیٹ میں داخلے محدود ہوں گے ، تاکہ خریداروں کی تعداد مارکیٹ کی گنجائش کے 30 فیصد سے زیادہ نہ ہو۔

5- صارفین کو مچھلی کو ہاتھ نہیں لگانا چاہئے۔

6- بیچنے والے اور کٹر کے مابین فاصلہ طے کرنے کے لئے غیر استعمال شدہ ڈسپلے ٹیبلز کا استعمال کریں۔

7- اس بات کو یقینی بنائیں کہ مارکیٹ میں مناسب وینٹیلیشن موجود ہے۔

8- اس بات کو یقینی بنائیں کہ سطحیں مستقل طور پر صاف ہوجائیں۔

9- ضوابط پر عمل درآمد کو یقینی بنانے کے لئے صرف ایک اندراج اور خارجی راستہ استعمال کیا جائے گا۔

10- بازار کے تمام عملے کو کارونا وائرس کی منتقلی کی روک تھام کے لئے صحت کی ضروریات اور احتیاطی تدابیر پر عمل پیرا ہونا چاہئے ، بشمول کام کے پورے دور میں دستانے اور ماسک پہننے کا عزم اور ان میں کثرت سے تبدیلی لانا۔ ”
