Covid-19: Oman’s CAA issues latest Entry Requirements to the Sultanate

Muscat: Oman CAA issues latest Entry Requirements to Sultanate of Oman

Below are the travel requirements as stated in the latest updates issued by Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) based on the directives of the concerned authorities.

In a Circular issues by Oman’s CAA said the following:

Before Travel for (Passengers below the age of 16)

Covid-19 health Insurance for Non-Omani and Non-GCC passengers (Required).

Negative PCR test certificate less than 72 hours old at time of arrival (exempted)

Online registration receipt for PCR test on arrival (exempted)

Confirmed hotel booking through Sahala platforms (Required)

Upon arrival for (Passengers below the age of 16)

PCR test (exempted)

Tracking bracelet (exempted)

After leaving the Airport (Passengers below the age of 16)

7-day Institutional Quarantine (Required) (Subject to negative test on day 8 as applicable)

PCR test on day 8 (exempted)

Upon arrival for (Sick passengers with approved certificate from MOH)

Upon arrival for (All Other Passengers)

After leaving the Airport (All Other Passengers)

7-day Institutional Quarantine (Required) (Subject to negative test on day 8 as applicable)

Diplomats accredited to Oman and their family members –  7-day home quarantine – (Required)

Air crew is exempted from all the requirements

1, The following 7 countries are exempted from the online payments, However, pre-registration is still required: Iran, North Korea, Russia, South Korea, Kenya, Ghana and Nigeria.

2, If travelling unaccompanied, they are exempted from institutional quarantine but shall remain in home quarantine.

3, Passenger below the age of 18 if travelling with family should be institutionally quarantine with their families.
