Covid-19: Oman records 255 new deaths for 10 days

Muscat: The Ministry of Health announced on Sunday the registration of 4,912 new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid 19) starting 15 July to 24 July 2021 for 10 days, bringing the total number of cases registered in the Sultanate to 275,760 cases.

Also, 255 new deaths from the Corona virus (Covid 19) were recorded, bringing the total deaths to 3,753 cases.

The distribution of the number of cases during the 10 days was as follows:

Thursday: 805 cases

Friday: 597 cases.

Saturday: 601cases.

Sunday: 641 cases

Monday: 545 cases

Tuesday: 334 cases

Wednesday: 287 cases

Thursday: 326 cases

Friday: 294 cases

Saturday: 482 cases

The number of inpatients during the past 24 hours reached 68, bringing the total of inpatients to 786, including 315 in intensive care.

The Ministry called on all citizens and residents to constantly clean hands with soap and water, avoid touching the face, nose, mouth and eyes, follow healthy habits when sneezing and coughing, and fully adhere to the instructions for social and physical distancing issued by the Supreme Committee and the Ministry of Health.
