Covid: I will be the first person to receive vaccine in the Oman, Minister of Health

Muscat: His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Saeedi, Minister of Health, said during the program on Omani TV, to talk about the decisions of the Supreme Committee and the latest developments of the new strain of the Corona virus “Covid 19”:

There are about 300 companies at the global level that have studied and research regarding vaccinations. Or the vaccine against the Covid 19 and the Sultanate has reserved about 10% of its vaccine needs through the International Vaccine Alliance, which includes 186 countries.

Oman to receive 15,600 doses of Covid-19 vaccine on Thursday,  I will be the first to receive the vaccine in the Sultanate, said Minister of Health

There is no immediate plans for government to impose lockdown in Oman in the wake of a new strain of COVID19 that is spreading in some countries.

Oman Airports has announced that it will suspended all international flights to and from airports of the Sultanate starting from Tuesday, December 22, 2020 for a period of one week .
