Muscat: The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) successfully concluded an awareness campaign that was launched at the beginning of the year under the theme “Your Rights are Protected.”

The campaign was carried out in collaboration with the Social Protection Fund and encompassed a range of activities and awareness events.

The primary objective of the campaign was to establish a fair and balanced market that serves the interests of all stakeholders. It aimed to ensure the smooth flow of purchasing activities, prevent unfair commercial practices, promote the concept of social responsibility, and strengthen the partnership between consumers and service providers.

The campaign featured various events such as awareness lectures, exhibitions, and meetings with suppliers in all departments and directorates of the CPA across the country’s governorates.

It is worth noting that the campaign coincided with the introduction of the social protection system and aligned with the government’s vision of fostering cooperation and integration among all sectors in line with Oman Vision 2040.
