CPA opens new office in South Al Sharqyah Governorate

Muscat: The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) opened an office in the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate in the Wilayat of Al Kamil and Al Wafi, under the patronage of His Excellency Sulayem bin Ali Al Hikmani, Chairman of the Consumer Protection Authority, and in the presence of a number of governors, members of the Shura Council, members of the Municipal Council, sheikhs and notables, and directors of government departments in the governorate.

The opening of the office comes within the framework of the Authority’s tireless efforts to ensure its presence near consumers, receive their complaints and inquiries, provide services to them wherever they are, and spread the culture of consumer awareness among all members of society.

His Excellency the Chairman of the Consumer Protection Authority said: The opening of the office comes as a continuation of the efforts of the wise government to spread all services to citizens in all states in the governorate, as the office is a reference for all consumers, and contributes to maintaining the stability of the prices of all consumer and service goods in the state, in addition to educating suppliers and owners of institutions. With the laws and executive regulations of the Consumer Protection Law, stressing that the Authority’s office in the state of Al-Kamil and Al-Wafi has been fully equipped with all the equipment and service requirements necessary for the success of the mission entrusted to it in serving consumers, preserving their rights, and educating the consumer about all his rights and duties.
