MERA issues Statement on the Sighting of the Crescent Moon for the Month of Jumada Al-Ula, 1446 AH

Muscat: Praise be to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon His Messenger, Muhammad, and upon his family and companions.

The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs announces that the crescent moon marking the beginning of the month of Jumada AlI-Ula, 1446 AH, was sighted after sunset this evening, Saturday, the 29 of Rabi’ al- Akher, 1446 AH (2nd November 2024). Therefore, tomorrow, Sunday (3rd November 2024), will mark the beginning of Jumada Al-Ula, 1446 AH.

We ask Allah Almighty to bless this month and all the months to follow, and may He grant us with success and prosperity.
