    • Crescent of Month Rabi Al-Akher 1445 AH was sighted: Oman’s MERA

    Muscat:  The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs announced that the sighting of the crescent of the month of Rabi’ al-Akher 1445 AH has been confirmed. After sunset today (Sunday) 29th Rabi’ al-Awwal 1445 AH, corresponding to October 15, 2023.

    In a statement MERA Oman said: “Praise be to Allah and prayer and peace be upon His Messenger Mohammad. The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs announces that the Crescent of Month Rabi Al-Akher 1445 AH was sighted after sunset this evening, Sunday 29th Rabi Al-Awwal 1445 AH (15th October 2023), Hence tomorrow I.e. Monday (16th October 2023) will mark the beginning of Rabi Al-Akher 1445 AH. We ask Allah Almighty to bless this month and the rest of the months, and may He grant us with success and prosperity.”
