Muscat: The Crescent Moon of the Month of Safar, 1445 A.H has not been Sighted, therefore tomorrow Thursday will mark the end of Muharram 1445 AH.
In a statement MERA said: “Praise be to Allah, and prayers and peace be upon His Messenger, Mohammad.
The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs announces that the Crescent of Month Safar 1445 AH was Not sighted after sunset this evening, Wednesday, 29th Muharram 1445 AH (16th August 2023).
Therefore, tomorrow i.e., Thursday (17th August 2023) will mark the end of Muharram 1445 AH, and Friday (18th August 2023) will mark the beginning of Safar 1445 AH.
We ask Allah Almighty to bless this month and all the months to follow, and may He grant us with success and prosperity.”
