    Muscat: The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (Mera) announces Statement of Sighting the Crescent of the Month Dhul Qadah 1444 AH

    In a statement Oman Mera said: “Praise be to Allah, and prayers and peace be upon His Messenger, Mohammad.

    The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs announces that the Crescent of the Month Dhul Qadah 1444 AH was sighted after sunset this evening, Saturday, 29th Shawwal 1444 AH (20th May 2023). Therefore, tomorrow,i.e., Sunday (21st May 2023) will mark the beginning of Dhul Qadah 1444AH.

    We ask Allah Almighty to bless this month and all the months to follow, and may He grant us with success and prosperity.
