CTF-151 Commander Meets Omani Military Officials, Visits MSC

Muscat: Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) received in his office at Al Murtafa’a Garrison today Rear Admiral Rüştü Sezer, commander of Combined Task Force (CTF) 151 and his accompanying military delegation.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed several military matters of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by Hamed Abdullah Al Balushi, SAF Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning.

Meanwhile, Rear Admiral Saif Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) also received in his office at Al Murtafa’a Garrison today Rüştü Sezer, commander of the Combined Task Force (CTF) 151 and his accompanying military delegation.

During this meeting, the two sides exchanged views on a range of naval topics of common concern.

Furthermore, Rüştü Sezer, commander of the Combined Task Force (CTF) 151 and his accompanying military delegation today visited the Maritime Security Centre (MSC).

The members of the visiting delegation were greeted upon their arrival at the MSC by the Acting Head of the MSC.

The guests were briefed on the tactical roles and tasks carried out by the centre in the safety of the Omani maritime environment. They also toured the centre’s facilities and viewed its latest equipment and technologies used in carrying out its national duties.
