The Cyclone Biparjoy is 980 km away from the coast of Oman, the Civil Aviation and Authority (CAA) announced on Saturday 10 June 2023.
In a statement issued by Civil Aviation and Authority (CAA) said online: The tropical system is located in the middle of the Arabian Sea at latitude 17.3 north and longitude 67.4 east. ‘The wind speed around the center of the cyclone is estimated between 83 to 90 knots.
CAA earlier today has issued an alert for people about the rough sea conditions over the next three days due to the sea waves rising to rough waves 3-6 meters on the coasts of the Arabian Sea and the average waves on the coast of the Sea of Oman 1.5-2.5 meters on the coasts of the Sea of Oman starting from Monday.
