    • Cyclone Tej 714 km away from Oman’s coast: Met

    Muscat: The tropical condition in the Arabian Sea has evolved from a “tropical storm ‘Tej’ to “tropical cyclone Cat.1 ‘Tej’.

    The Civil Aviation Authority issued latest Updates on the Tropical System in Arabian Sea, alerting that the distance from the center of the Tropical  Cyclone Cat .1 (Tej) is about 714 km away from the Oman coast and that the distance of closet rainy clouds is about 402 km away and is moving towards the west-northwest of Dhofar Governorate and Yemen

    The report added that the wind speed around the center tropical Cyclone Cat.1 (Tej) ranges from 64 to 82 knots, position N11.02 / E57.29

    CAA also said, Please avoid going to the sea and engaging in marine activities
