    • Cyclone Tej: NCEM confirms no reports of death, drowning or distress calls so far in Dhofar

    Muscat: The National Committee for Emergency Management (NCEM) is in continuous session to follow up on the effects of the tropical situation (Tej) and confirms the readiness of all sectors to deal with the effects that the situation may cause during its transit.

    The National Committee for Emergency Management (NCEM) also confirms that no reports of deaths, detentions, drownings or distress calls have been recorded so far in Dhofar Governorate.

    There was a power outage in the state of Rakhyut, and the return of power to all of Sarfit, including the two shelter centers in the areas of Dim and Hofuf. Wadi Hayroun in the district of Shahb Sa’ib descended in abundance, and a power outage to the shelter centers in the areas of Shershti, Ajdrut, and Hayron.
