Muscat: The National Committee for Emergency Situations Management continues its ongoing session to follow up on the effects of the tropical situation “Tej”, in the presence of Major General Abdullah bin Ali Al Harithi, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs, Vice Chairman of the Committee, and Their Excellencies the members.
The committee confirmed the readiness of all various sectors to deal with the effects that may be caused by the tropical situation during its crossing and the resulting rainfall and valleys in some states of the western region of Dhofar Governorate.
The main committee has followed up with the subcommittee in the governorate on some reports of power outages in the state of Rakhyut and some areas in the districts of Shahab Asaib and Sarfit, confirming that the concerned technical teams will take all necessary measures to restore the power supply after the situation subsides.
