Muscat: The Ministry of Interior reiterated that today (14 September 2023) is the closing date of voter registration in the Shura Council’s 10th Term elections’ register, as well as the transfer of voter registration files from one wilayat to another.

The deadline has been set at midnight, 12 o’clock. The ministry advised citizens who have not previously been registered in the Electoral Register to submit their applications in the Electoral Register via Intikhab App or the elections website (elections.om), according to the addresses quoted on their personal identity cards. The ministry reminded all that the process requires all applicants to have their personal cards to be empowered by the electronic authentication system (PKI).

The Ministry urged registered voters (wishing to transfer their registration files from one wilayat to another) to immediately submit their applications for such action through “Intikhab” app or the elections website (elections.com), depending on the permanent or current address quoted in their ID card.
