Defence Ministry Secretary General Receives GCC Chiefs of Staff of Armed Forces 

Muscat: Dr. Mohammed Nasser Al Za’abi, Secretary General at the Ministry of Defense, received in his office at Al Mrtafa’a Garrison today the Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries participating in the work of the regular meeting of the Supreme Military Committee.

The Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. In the presence of Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Khamis Al-Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces.

Dr. Secretary-General welcomed the Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces of the GCC countries, appreciating the efforts and endeavors of the Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces in supporting the process of joint cooperation between the GCC countries in various military fields, wishing them success in the work of the meeting.

During the meeting, a number of military issues of common interest were discussed. The meeting was attended by His Excellency Lieutenant General Eid bin Awad Al-Shalawi, Commander of the Unified Military Command in the GCC countries, and His Excellency Major General Pilot Issa bin Rashid Al-Muhannadi, Assistant Secretary for Military Affairs in the General Secretariat of the Council.
