    • Dental Conference begins in South Al Batinah

    Musanah: The activities of the South Al Batinah Dental Conference, organized by the Directorate General of Health Services, represented by the Primary Health Care Department, began today in the Wilayat of Musannah in Barcelo Resort.

    The conference aimed to present a number of lectures on dentistry and a number of workshops that contributed to refining scientific and surgical skills and initiating experiences and discussions for a number of dentists from different governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.

    The conference included a series of scientific sessions that dealt with topics related to dental treatment, diagnosis and prevention techniques. A scientific lecture was also presented in the field of maxillofacial surgery, two lectures in the field of orthodontics, and two lectures in root canal treatment.

    Dr. Khalifa Al-Amiri, senior dental consultant at the Sultan’s Armed Forces Hospital, gave a workshop on root canal treatment.
