Development projects continues in Al Sunainah in Al Buraimi

Al Buraimi: Number of Development projects continues in the Wilayat of Al Sunainah in Al Buraimi Governorate, which are being implemented by the Buraimi Governor’s Office as part of governorate development projects.

Sulaiman bin Mohammed Al Balushi, head of the projects department in the Buraimi Governor’s Office, said that the most prominent projects being implemented in the Wilayat of Al Sunaina is the road lighting project (Hafeet – Al Sunaina), with a length of 47 kilometers, with 670 poles, where the completion rate has reached 90 percent, as well as the project to develop the entrance to the Wilayat Al Sunaina, which is It consists of beautifying the entrance from various sides to add aesthetic touches and increase the percentage of green areas in the state, as the completion rate has reached 80 percent.

He pointed out that among the development projects being implemented in the state is a project to pave internal roads for various villages and regions of the state. The surveys and basic soil layers for the project have been completed. The paving process will be implemented in the near future, and the completion rate of the project has reached 60 percent.

With the aim of observing the latest developments in work in the Wilayat of Sunaina and being informed of the various aspects related to it, His Excellency Mr. Dr. Hamad bin Ahmed Al Busaidi, Governor of Al Buraimi, visited the state today, during which he was briefed on the progress of work in implementing the projects, in addition to visiting a number of sites proposed to implement the projects in, including the proposed site. For the state market project, the camel racing field, the poultry farm project, and Al-Sunaina Park, in addition to visiting the sports center and Al-Rayani Falaj, and the project to plant 50,000 palm trees.

During the visit, His Excellency Dr. Governor Al Buraimi met with the people of the state of Sunaina, during which he listened to the aspirations and proposals of the people of the state to develop the state in various aspects.

It should be noted that the state of Sunaina embraces one of the most important food security projects in the Sultanate of Oman represented by the Mazoon dairy project, which was able to constitute a real addition to the governorate, by providing job opportunities for Omanis, and high-quality national products that were able to reach a number of Gulf markets, in addition to The state is an appropriate environment for implementing a number of food security projects in the future, in line with the pillars of the urban strategy.
