Directorate General of Education in Dhofar Honors Over 350 Outstanding Performers

Salalah: The Directorate General of Education in Dhofar Governorate today held a ceremony to honour students and participants who excelled in educational activities during 2025.

The event took place at Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah under the auspices of Dr. Intisar Abdullah Al Ambusaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Educational Support Programmes.

The ceremony recognised outstanding students, winners of local and international educational competitions, as well as members of judging panels and supervisors who contributed to the success of these activities.

Honourees were celebrated across a range of fields, including choral chanting, musical performance, theatre and drama, poetry, short story writing, public speaking, classical Arabic, reading competitions, visual presentations, and fine arts.

The event reflects the Directorate’s efforts to support student talents and promote participation in cultural and educational activities that contribute to developing skills and creativity.
