Dhofar Governor reviews Salalah Airport’s preparations to welcome khareef visitors

Salalah: His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki bin Mahmoud Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, today paid an inspection visit to Salalah Airport. Within the framework of the Dhofar Governorate’s preparations to receive the khareef visitors for season 2023, and to determine the readiness of the various services and facilities.

During the visit, His Highness was briefed on the preparations and plans of the Civil Aviation Authority and the Oman Airports Company, represented by Salalah Airport, during the fall season.

Upon his arrival at the airport, he was received by officials of the Authority and the company, who gave a briefing on the efforts and work undertaken at the airport to receive the visitors of the province.

The Governor of Dhofar was briefed on the airport’s facilities and equipment, including the open gates project, and listened to an explanation about the project given by Eng. Zakaria Al-Harassi, Executive Vice President of Oman Airports Company for Salalah Airport. During the visit, His Highness also met with the authorities working at the airport.

The Governor praised the efforts made by the authorities operating at the airport, stressing the importance of exerting more work, integration and cooperation between all sectors operating in the Dhofar Governorate to provide appropriate services and facilities with quality and efficiency, wishing success to the various agencies and businesses to present a successful and distinguished autumn season that achieves the desired aspirations.

During his visit to the airport, His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said was accompanied by the Governor of Dhofar and a number of officials in the governorate.
