Dhofar Khareef Sports Forum launched in Salalah

Salalah: The “Dhofar Autumn Sports Forum” was launched this evening at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah, which aims to promote and market tourism to the Dhofar Governorate in the autumn season.

The forum’s program opened with a discussion session entitled: “Entrepreneurship Opportunities in the Sports Sector,” which included two working papers presented by Qatari journalist Mohammed Saadoun Al-Kuwari, an entrepreneur in the sports sector, who talked about his success story in the media and sports fields, and entrepreneurship.

Ashraf bin Abdullah Al-Huzaili, from the General Directorate of Culture, Sports and Youth in Dhofar Governorate, presented a working paper on introducing the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth and its various facilities and facilities in Dhofar Governorate, and reviewing the pioneering opportunities available in the future for investment.

The opening program included a media discussion session talking about the impact of the media on sporting events, moderated by Hussam Baqweer, an entrepreneur, and in which Musaed Al-Fouzan, a content maker, Khamis Al-Balushi, and Khalil Al-Balushi, participated.

It is worth noting that the forum will include a group of activities, including sports, represented in an exhibition match that brings together the stars of Omani, Gulf and Arab football, and the championship of the Dhofar Autumn Forum from 5-9 August. On the tourism side, the forum will include a visit to Wadi Darbat and the Al-Baleed Archaeological Center. The inauguration was sponsored by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Saif Al Busaidi, the governor of Salalah, in the presence of a number of officials from various authorities and those targeted by the forum.
