Dhofar mountains turn lush green with the approaching Khareef season

Salalah: Some mountainous areas in the Dhofar Governorate were covered in green with the approaching start of the Khareef Dhofar season, and the Oman News Agency (ONA) lens captured pictures showing the onset of the weather in a number of mountainous areas in the governorate’s deputies and wilayats, and light rain showers that fell sporadically on the Some areas of the state of Salalah, where the temperature reached 28 degrees Celsius.

The coastal wilayats in the Dhofar Governorate are affected by the khareef season, specifically from the wilayat of Dhalkut in the west to the wilayat of Mirbat in the east. As a result of the monsoons and the flow of clouds coming from the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean.
