Dhofar Municipality opens first phase of Wadi Darbat project

Dhofar Municipality announced the opening of the first phase of the road development project to Wadi Darbat in the Wilayat of Taqah. The entrance tunnel to Wadi Darbat at Aqaba Tawi Atir was opened in order to facilitate the flow of traffic to the valley.

The total length of the project is 600 meters, the asphalt width is 7 meters, and the tunnel is 12 meters wide and 14 meters long.

Dhofar Municipality, as part of the Wadi Darbat Tourism Development Project, has made public parking lots for visitors and facilitated the movement of visitors to the Khareef at the site of watching waterfalls and boating.

Dhofar Municipality announced that an additional road will be opened from Wadi Darbat to Aqaba Shehit in the second phase after the Khareef season.
