Oman: Dhofar University celebrated today the graduation of the 16th batch of university students, through visual communication under the patronage of His Excellency Dr Mahad bin Saeed bin Ali Baouin, Minister of Labor.
Dr. Hassan bin Saeed Kashob, President of Dhofar University, delivered a speech on this occasion in which he said that the university used to graduate its students in November of every year so that this happy occasion coincided with the country’s celebrations and joys of the 50th National Day of the Blessed Renaissance.
He added that the university celebrates the graduation of (1092) of its male and female students, who represent the sixteenth batch of graduates of Dhofar University for the academic year 2019-2020 AD from holders of diplomas, bachelors and postgraduate studies at master’s level in various scientific disciplines .. stressing the university’s role in supplying the labor market annually with qualified Omani cadres To promote the sustainable development march in the Sultanate.
The graduation ceremony included delivering a number of speeches to graduates, honoring students who are scientifically good and who have won the Academic Excellence Award, in addition to delivering certificates to graduates from various scientific disciplines for masters and bachelor’s degrees and diploma.
It should be noted that the number of graduates from the College of Arts and Applied Sciences amounted to 236 graduates, from the College of Commerce and Administrative Sciences 508 graduates and from the College of Engineering, 189 graduates, and 159 graduates of the College of Law.
