The administration of Dhofar University issued a clarification statement in which it denied what was circulated through social media about the expiry of the academic accreditation of Dhofar University and not being included in the unified admission guide for the academic year 2023/2022.
The university stated that it is the first private university in the Sultanate of Oman to obtain institutional accreditation from the Omani Authority for Academic Accreditation and Education Quality Assurance in 2018.
The university confirmed the continuity of that accreditation and that the certificate is valid for five years from the date of its issuance, and that it also obtained international accreditation from some international organizations in this regard.
It indicated that it will follow up on those who spread this malicious rumor and prosecute them in accordance with the legal rights regulating this.
